The assignment
Lokale- og Anlægsfonden wanted to shift from a Lotus Notes platform to a more flexible and user-friendly CMS. At the same time the website was redesigned to be able to fulfill the strategic and communication related needs of the organization. A specific problem was the receipt of a lot of unjustified applications. The foundation wished to reduce these applications and today one is to answer some questions before one is allowed to download the application forms - this is a simple and inexpensive solution that works. From Lotus Notes to Open Source In order to improve the communication with the applicants to the foundation, collaborators and other users the web solution includes, among others, a newsletter module, online order of the publications made by the foundation and a database that shows some of the projects that the foundation has supported.
